🎣 Walleye Seasonal Closure Notice 🎣

Anishinaabeg of Kabapikotawangag Resource Council Inc. is reminding all community members that walleye season will be closed from April 14, 2026 to May 16, 2026.

This closure helps protect walleye during their spawning period, ensuring healthy fish populations for future generations. During this time, walleye are laying eggs in our rivers, creeks, and bays, making them especially vulnerable.

🔹 This period is closely monitored to support sustainability
🔹 Please follow Ontario Fishing Regulations for all zones and limits
