Northwest Angle #33

The Northwest Angle #33 First Nation is represented as one First Nation, however the First Nation is geographically separated, with two communities located at opposite ends of Lake of the Woods.

Northwest Angle #33/Angle Inlet is accessible only by water or air. It is located on the west side of Lake of the Woods, approximately 250 kilometres or 2.75 hours drive from AKRC. Community facililities at Angle Inlet include a health clinic, a community hall, and an administration building. Health Canada’s First Nation and Inuit Health Branch as WNHAC make periodic nursing visits.

Northwest Angle #33/Dog Paw Lake is located off Highway #71 on the east side of Lake of the Woods, 25 kilometres or 10 minutes from the AKRC offices. Community facilities include a recreation hall.
